CONTACT DETAILS

Please contact the helpline number below with your enquiries.

HELPLINE: 07765 947599 The Helpline aims to open between 10am and 12 noon Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. However the service can only operate subject to volunteer availability and some days the hours will vary. There will be a voicemail message to inform you when the line will open again.

The phone will be answered by Fabia Brackenbury, Founder of NLSSG and the Vulval Health Awareness Campaign. The helpline also takes calls from men who have LS and from the parents of children with the condition.

Please be aware that the Helpline does not have funding to call you back, although where possible contact with you will be made. All those contacting the helpline are requested to kindly donate the sum of £5 to help with running costs if you are called back and this is important and vital to the line continuing to run. As soon as there are sufficient funds the line will be able to become an 0800 number and this will reduce the cost of the call to you. Currently it is costing NLSSG 30 pence per message to recover voicemail messages. Please think about giving generously to the helpline fund. The line was started as an experiment in the early part of 2006 and has been saving lives and giving vital support and information to men, women and the parents of children who have LS and also to women with vulval pain syndromes, VIN and vulval cancer.
